Responsibilities and Duties
Administrative:
- General administrative support such as support with Excel, Canva, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.
- Update organizational policies and procedures documents as requested
- Maintain, organize, archive, and upload files to SharePoint
Development:
- Record incoming gifts, create data analytics and maintain the accuracy of the fundraising database, including: o Creating reports on contributions, donors, and prospects, as needed o Generate all thank you letters and pledge reminders
- Maintain “Daily Log” in SharePoint
- Serve on Development Committee
- Reconcile monthly income with bookkeeper
- Research and compile data for grant proposals and reports
- Coordinate the printing, production, and distribution of all direct fundraising mail pieces
- Assist in marketing, promotion, and implementation of LitNet special events, including annual celebration
- Provide support at special fundraising and program events
- Input gifts and donor updates and info in LGL (Little Green Light); be the LitNet LGL knowledge base.
Program Support:
- Provide general administrative support as needed to the education team
- Analyze learner and tutor data (as requested) to provide regular reports in: o Demographic information o Employment data
Special Projects:
- Undertake special projects as requested by the Executive Director (e.g., Impact Report, Legacy Circle, etc.)
- Maintain board and staffing lists, including board committees
- Work with ED to create board meeting packets and related documents
LitNet’s Assessment Research Project Coordinator: (an additional 5 hrs per week) This aspect of the role is funding dependent. LitNet has written a grant for this special project. Decision about funding is expected in May 2025. It would include the following responsibilities and engagement:
- In partnership with LitNet’s Executive Director and Director of Tutoring (LitNet Ed Team), create an Assessment Research project “strategic plan” complete with purpose, timelines, and collated research.
- Host bi-monthly meeting with LitNet Ed Team to review actions to date and revise strategic plan as needed
- Initiate relevant contacts (emails or phone) related to topic.
- Maintain project files
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- You are highly motivated and inspired by our mission to improve support Berkshire County’s immigrant community

- You have a solid level of technology skills and are comfortable learning new tools and ways.
Preferred experience, or willing to learn:
- Strong skills in Excel, WORD and MICROSOFT Office
- Event planning experience
- Proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese
- Donor Management/Database skills
Position Benefits:
- P/T 15-20 hrs. per week @ $23-$25 per hour
- Retirement plan with employer contribution (3%) (eligible after 6 months)
