The snow has definitely been a challenge this year, but spring is on the horizon. We can feel it in the longer days and strengthening sun.
Next week we will be sending out messages to ask for your support. In honor of our 35th year of continuously serving our Berkshire community by providing free educational support, primarily to immigrants learning English, we have created a day of giving. On March 5th—3/5—we will be asking our community to donate $35 in honor of our 35th birthday. If we can get 100 people to do so, we will raise $3,500. This gift will go a long way to help LitNet continue its work of training and supporting tutors, pairing learners with available tutors, providing books to our learners, sharing about our work with the community, and more.
Before we know it, we’ll all be celebrating a spring thaw.
