May Newsletter 2025

June 2, 2025

Summer energy is starting to buzz at LitNet as it is in the Berkshires. Seasonal tutors are back in action. We have so many events coming up, including next Friday’s The Village Cidiot benefit performance by Lauren Letellier at The Mount, a Citizenship Trivia Night at Amici, LitNet at Lee Pride, and our summer storytelling project. We’ve also begun planning our annual fundraising celebration, which will be held on Saturday, October 18 this year. (Mark your calendars!) Things feel busy and good.

I am just blown away by the dedication of our community, especially our LitNet tutors, many of whom, on top of volunteering their time, helped LitNet raise $10,000 in our Peer-to-Peer campaign (which officially ends tomorrow). My heart is full of gratitude, and seeing our community come together to support our work and the Berkshire immigrant community gives me hope.

Whether you support LitNet through financial donations, attending our events, sharing our news, or volunteering, your support matters and makes an impact. When we work together, that impact can be very big and very meaningful.
