The Learner Liaison of the Literacy Network of South Berkshire is the primary liaison between the organization and its learners. He or she works as a part-time employee for 20 hours per week providing support in recruiting learners, conducting intakes, collaborating with ED on tutor-learner matches, maintaining learner data, and serving the primary role to communicate and engage with LitNet learners.
The Learner Liaison must have excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish, be passionate about progressing immigrants in Berkshire County, and education. The Learner Liaison must be eager to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and flexible environment. In addition to supporting the learners, the Learner Liaison will work closely with the Executive Director to plan and implement training programs and develop new educational initiatives for the organization. The Learner Liaison must be comfortable working independently and (post-Covid) be willing to travel regularly throughout South County for meetings with tutors and students. This position reports to the Executive Director.
