As LitNet forges ahead through this year of many firsts, what remains central in our work is the generosity and kindness of our community.
LitNet’s theme this year is “strength in partnership,” and the motto has been proving itself to be true. As LitNet prepares to launch its first Career Expo for the immigrant community this weekend, not one organization that we have invited to participate in this event turned down the opportunity!
We’re also grateful for the partnership of our funders: Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation, Feigenbaum Foundation, the Fitzpatrick Trust, and Greylock Federal Credit Union. Without them, our new workplace and professional advancement programming, like the Career Expo, would not have come into being.
We really are stronger when we work together, and it makes our community a better place in which to live, work, and play.
