Thanks to all who celebrated with us on October 18 or who otherwise supported our Generation to Generation event!
Our annual celebration is crucial to our existence–each year, we raise approximately a quarter of our annual revenue, filling our coffers to ensure we can support hundreds of adults in our community by providing free books and learning materials, training our beloved volunteer tutors, tracking our learners’ progress and accomplishments, staying connected with other community organizations also working on behalf of the immigrant community, and so much more.
We’re happy to be heading into the homestretch of 2025. It’s been quite a year. To date, we have served about 313 learners–we are on target to exceed 2024’s numbers!
We have a Book Group going and specialized classes featuring role-playing of real-life scenarios. We are making plans for a December Career Expo and looking into planning more storytelling in 2026.
We’re keeping the ball rolling and are excited and motivated by the hard work and enthusiasm of our intrepid learners.
