Literacy Network celebrated its 35th anniversary with its annual fundraiser at Barrington Hall on October 3, honoring Lee Bank for its support of nonprofits across Berkshire County. The Berkshire Edge covered the evening, where Executive Director Leigh Doherty shared that LitNet now has 190 active tutors working with 200 learners, with about 40 more on the waitlist. Board members, tutoring staff and volunteers spoke about how LitNet has grown since 1991, including the new LitNet Learning Center on North Street in Pittsfield.
