Whether it’s last week’s Berkshire Nonprofit Awards ceremony with 200 people in attendance, LitNet’s Community Conversation series on Jose Antonio Vargas’s DEAR AMERICA: NOTES OF AN UNDOCUMENTED CITIZEN at the Stockbridge Library, or yesterday’s Tutor Town Hall at the Lee Library for our volunteer tutors, I’m reminded of the importance of community. Whether that’s county-wide, town-wide, or the very community we’ve wrought within the realm of our own organization, I’m delighted to have the presence of so many good-hearted people expressing curiosity and showing commitment to making our world a better place.
