The Literacy Network (LitNet) has opened a satellite office at Volunteers in Medicine Berkshires’ (ViM) Pittsfield location to better serve the growing immigrant community in central Berkshire County. This collaboration aims to provide free educational services, including English language tutoring and citizenship preparation, to individuals who may face barriers to accessing such resources. By co-locating with ViM, LitNet seeks to create a more integrated support system for immigrants, addressing both healthcare and educational needs in a centralized setting.
