We thank all of those who chose to pitch in $35 (or more!) for LitNet’s 35th. It was a wonderful way to honor this milestone year, and we’re grateful to have you at our backs as we continue our journey—stronger than ever—providing support for adults, especially English language learners in our community. Some of you have been with us for the entirety of LitNet’s existence: your loyalty fuels and inspires us!
Spring is always an active time of year. Throughout March and April, we are meeting with many of our funders who are key to sustaining our work. We welcome two foundations—one who has supported LitNet for several years and one new prospect—to the LitNet offices next week for site visits. As we prepare for these visits, we are enjoying the process of taking stock of all that LitNet has been able to accomplish, what we intend to accomplish this year and beyond, and the ways we can make our programming and operations stronger.
As of this writing we have 240 active learners! That in itself is something to be proud of.
